Crusted Pork Chops

This is very simple - something I like to make when I don't want to spend too much time in the kitchen (but don't want to resort to opening a can of soup or chili). It is very flavorful with the right bread crumbs (or mix of spices in the bread crumbs).

Ingredients

Boneless Pork Chops (also works with chicken)
Olive Oil (or Grapeseed Oil)
Bread Crumbs (I used McCormick Crusting Blends with Panko Bread Crumbs) - about 1/3 cup per pound of meat.

Cooking Directions

Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Lightly coat the pork chops with oil.
Coat with the bread crumbs
Bake in oven for 15 minutes.
Let rest at least 2 minutes.

Cooking Notes

You could also brine the pork chops, but I like this because it is quick and easy (brining takes a lot of time).

After lightly oiling and coating, I placed in a lightly greased pan (a butter spray in this case)

Cook and it's done. Serve with your choice of green vegetable (with ketchup in this case).
