Oreo Fudge

Simple recipe: 3 ingredients ... though as I make this again, I may look to add more somehow - maybe some vanilla or nuts.

Ingredients

18 oz white chocolate chips
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
25 Oreo cookies, crushed
20 Oreo cookies, crushed (for topping)

Cooking Directions

Line a 9x13 baking dish with foil or parchment paper (I sprayed with a cooking spray, but it took some effort to get the final product out).

Place 25 Oreo cookies in a ziplock bag and crush (not too fine, you want as little "dust" as possible). Crush the 20 Oreos for the topping and set aside.

In a large microwavable bowl, microwave the white chocolate at 30 second intervals (maybe 1 minute for the first burst, then 30 seconds after that). Stir between bursts until the white chocolate is smooth. (Next time I will add the condensed milk before microwaving as I think that would be ok).

Remove from microwave and stir in the condensed milk until combined.

Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.

Pour the fudge into the baking dish and make level.

Take the Oreos for the topping and crumble as a top layer. Then press down so the Oreos stick to the fudge. I used a wooden tamper to press the Oreos in firmly.

Place the fudge in the fridge to set for at least an hour.

Take the fudge out and cut. As with all of my 9x13 dishes, I like to cut into 6 even pieces and then each of those into 9 even pieces for 54 pieces to serve at a party or office function.
